Loading ...Sci Fi/Fantasy movie weekend preview: ‘Doom,’ ‘Stay’
Two weekends before Halloween has traditionally been the time of the year that film studios unleash their creepy movies and monster flicks upon the viewing audience.
This year, two big-budget films are footing the bill: Doom, inspired by the video game series of the same name, and Stay, a modern ghost story. Each movie opens nationwide on October 21.

Doom (2005)
In this video game-to-movie, look for great special effects with tons of gore and violence. Do not look for the best acting or writing. Most likely will be big with male teenagers and frat boys of all ages - because they blow things up "real good."
